@linebackerchat@USWeightlifting@Coach_MBest Coach, granted, these times have pushed us to offer the on-line course, which obviously lacks the typical hands on portion of our courses, however this is a “live” instructor course in which videos are used, and feedback is encouraged.
First triple digit overhead for Junior lifter Amy with this 100 kgs. Last spring she hurt her posterior hip hurdling in track and no matter how much rehab we did, split jerks hurt. At that point we switched exclusively to this style of jerk.
It’s back to base phase after AO 1 and we are focusing on higher volumes and partial exercises to reinforce positions and build back our physical base.
@coachgibson70 If they allow them to put on pads and hit, or jump off a balance beam, they should allow them to catch a clean without a spotter. Teach then how to miss. That’s one of the reasons we have platforms and bumper plates.
@ThrowSumthin Thanks. That’s a very inexpensive solution to a belt squat machine. Cost me less than $150. We squatted today, but do these for increased volume
