Last Saturday, something that happens just once every 375,000 flight hours happened on our flight, according to the FAA.

A loud bang. A sudden yaw. And then, we were down to one engine.

I still don’t know what caused the engine to fail.

What I do know:

✅@delta's crew was fantastic from the cockpit to the terminal.
✅Passengers stayed incredibly calm throughout.
✅ Delta got us to LA just 8 hours later, remarkable really.

@chadludeman Did a “K401K” for my kids. Would match any job $, birthday $ they saved on Aug 31st each year (up to 1k) in a MM until they were 18. Now, actual kids IRAs are available & do that too. I match their w2s in a KIRA, buy VOO for them, teaches them both beginner savings and investing.
