Liebe DPD Switzerland (/CC @dpd_de, da kein swiss DPD twitter). Eure QR codes funktionieren leider nicht, da es kein DNS Eintrag gibt für die Domain. Auch kein feedback Formular wo man das melden könnte. User Experience sehr nahe bei 0%! Beste Grüsse, ein genervter Kunde!
Really @tweethue, forcing users to have an account that enables remote control and selling it as being more secure? I call BS! I have no account exactly for that reason! Anyone knows any good alternatives?
Made a very simple demo from my threejs astro shaders where you can play with the keplerian orbital elements and see the results in real-time.

Btw. this is not meant to be used in any scientific way! I just created it to display those moon positions in my WebGL SolSys simulation (not yet integrated):

Made a first release of my home-grown ephemerides approximation for saturnian moons against @NASAJPL's sat441l dataset. Ideally I'd also give a in-depth analysis of how well each body can be compressed and I'm working on that :)

As for final reference, the original sat441l.bsp database is around 600MB. My JS approximation without any compression is around 100KB; already a reduction factor of over 5000; with an average accuracy over 99% and most of the time even beyond the 99.9% range :)
Die "historische" Erstausgabe des deutschen #Nintendo Clubs. Was für Erinnerungen. Könnte schon fast ein Unikat sein. Die Mitgliedskarte habe ich leider verloren. Kann man die Nachbeantragen #Nintendo ?
Added initial orbitals shader to my #thrastro shader library. Updates shader patches for latest #threejs r150. Plus a fix for the mie/rayleigh scattering GroundShader.

Looking forward to work on my astro projects this winter, once I have more free time at hand. For now a few more impressions from current #threejs solar system explorer: https://t.co/iIzbTICZvX
Tip: Press 1 to 9 to switch planetary objects.
On track creating tightly optimized planetary moon positions. Here is Mimas from JPL sat441. ~100MB compressed to ~2KB with 0.01% accuracy. Unfortunately it'll take around a year non-stop calculation to just get all sat441 satellites to a similar error/compression range. @nvidia
