This is the first poem that appears in my new book, Above Ground. I’ve been thinking a lot about the simultaneity of the human experience. How joy sits alongside sorrow. How wonder sits alongside despair. How we carry all of it all at once.
Never make yourself small, to make yourself relatable.

The world could use a few models of people who feel comfortable in their own skin, and are okay being smart genuinely good people.
First mover advantage only exists when products take years to build and it's the biggest business moat.
Times have changed and most products can be easily copied but the marketing channels cannot be.
This is why distribution channels are the biggest moat for startups today.
