@carp_jeffrey i think who a media organization is funded by is incredibly influential in the types of news/bias they produce. i think this makes organizations more likely to promote+share information that favors the institutioh that funds them #UWJ201

@AnnaFel40043265 generally, i don’t believe that all politics are inherently polarized, but i think bipartisanship in america has definitely contributed to the tendency for only 2 extreme voices to be heard/represented in the media + the failure of third parties to be heard/successful #UWJ201

@alpert_justin I genuinely don’t think society is any more more polarized than it has been in the past, however I do believe that the media’s tendency to cover conflict + extremist views has been influential in increasing perceptions of polarization in society and media #UWJ201
