Last Friday night (9/12), Pitman High football improved to 3-1 after defeating Golden Valley. A big reason for that victory was 4th down. Pitman High lined up to go for it on 4th down FIVE times. They converted three of those by themselves. Golden Valley jumped offsides the other two times, giving Pitman the 1st down. Let's call them 5 for 5 on 4th down.
