I'm a #Kubernetes eng. @Akamai, and interested in #OSS programming, distributed computing, eBPF, virtualization, container orchestration, and many more...
You've got a control plane and a worker node. Now what?
The next lesson in "Kubernetes the Very Hard Way" walks through joining a worker node to the cluster, including TLS bootstrapping and certificate management.

The final control plane lesson in Kubernetes the Very Hard Way, introducing kube-controller-manager, is out: https://t.co/zFnelQw1nB
Next stop: assembling a functional cluster!
#kubernetes performance is usually a myth, so we turned it into a contest; run the benchmark, beat our score, and we’ll ship you a custom trophy you can actually wear. 🚀

@danielepolencic I don't want to make promotion to the free but closed edition, but it is able to route different data to different databases (by namespace, resource type, etc). Fully transparent and scales almost linearly by adding more databases (optimal max is near 24 dbs) with O(1) ram usage.
@idegallapot@iben12 Az ido egy rohadt nagy illuzio, az ebedido meg duplan ugye. Az ido okan csinalni barmit se jobban a valosag. Nincs idod? Ass egy mely godrot ;) Vagy csinalj gyerejet. Nekem vannak kolykeim, maris majdnem dupla idoben tudok gondolkozni. :D
@davpapp By this definiton, reality is a hallucination for most of the humans ;) What about experiencing unreal execution on wrongly consumed reality? Its an illusion?
@shashiwhocodes@trycoachable I use open questions during the interview like, why do you love golang, or what is the one thing you would change in kubernetes. Juniors and seniors also able to answer on a different level. I dont take care on answer itself. Only thing i'm looking for is the shine in the eyes!!!
@shashiwhocodes Because, i'm a devops guy, who can cover entire lifecycle of a backend kind application from design to roll out, including all developer and operational tasks, cloud or containerization. In my view the end product is the manifests to run the app, and SRE team edits replicas only.
