19.8.1988– Assassination of 2 Senior Punjab Police officers including SSP Patiala - Such was the level of complicity of some Police employees with the Khalistani Sikh terrorists that on this day, Sh. Sital Dass IPS SSP Patiala and Sh. B.S.Brar IPS SP (Detective) Patiala were shot dead by ASI Dalbir Singh in the Civil Lines Police Station at 12.30 pm. Dalbir Singh had relations with few terrorists especially with dreaded terrorist Paramjit Singh @ Pamma. Once earlier also he was suspended for relations with smugglers but was reinstated later on. On receiving complaints about his relations with terrorists, he had been summoned to Civil Lines Police station Patiala for questioning and for taking back his service revolver. When SSP asked him to surrender his service revolver, he fired at both the police officers. While Sh. Brar died on spot, Sh. Sital Dass was seriously injured. He despite being injured fired at Dalbir Singh and killed him. Sh. Sital Dass passed away in hospital later on . Some reports said that Dalbir Singh committed suicide with his service revolver. One day before this incident, he had told his girlfriend who was a Nurse, about his intentions.

2. Sh. Sital Dass was a very brave officer and under his command, Patiala Police had recently neutralised many dreaded terrorists. He was police officer of Bihar Cadre but had been brought to Punjab Cadre. During Operation Bluestar he was SP (Operations) Amritsar. He had later on worked as SP (Intelligence) Ferozepur and Amritsar also.

3. This was not the first incident of killing of such senior Police Officers in Patiala. Few months back, Sh. A.S.Brar SSP Patiala and Sh. Kanwar Gill SP were shot dead during morning walk in NIS Patiala.

1) There were not two but 3 terrorists: Sukha, Jinda & Nimma. Nimma was let go & is still alive I believe.

3) Here’s Dr Joginder Singh - head of History at GNDU - on how the letter came about. My own sources credibly point to the key role of Karamjit Singh (Khalistani embedded in Punjabi Tribune newspaper).
4) Yes even The Tribune - the english & most cosmopolitan daily of Punjab - was forced to post the entirety of letter which took the entire first 3 pages of the newspaper. It’s editor VN Narayanan also had the ignominy of typing Punjab as the ‘Khalistan di pavittar dharti’ or ‘The holy land of Khalistan’ a few times. But such were the threats they lived under. Here’s the copy of one of the letters sent to him from Golden Temple, which starts with the word ‘HARAMJADE’ (in Hindi/Punjabi it sounds much cruder than simple ‘bastard’ in English) & threatens that his family has been tracked in Tamil Nadu if he doesn’t comply to print their diktats.
5) Psychopathic massmurderer & rapist Gurbachan Singh Manochal - attached contemporaneous first person reportage on IndiaToday on how he abducted Sikh girls in front of their fathers for sex slavery of his men - who sent this threat letter & was hugely responsible in exodus of Hindus from villages of Majha - was curiously not a demon but huge inspiration of ‘Human Rights Activist’ Jaswant Singh Khalra!!!

Survivor of Direct Action Day and Noakhali massacre, Rabindranath Dutta (92) recalls how naked, butchered bodies of Hindu women were hung from hooks at Raja Bazar beef shops.

Victoria College girls were raped, killed and their bodies tied to hostel windows.
Rabindranath Dutta told me how he stood watching heaps of slaughtered Hindu bodies during 1946 Noakhali pogrom, pools of blood around his heels.

Most women's bodies had breasts missing, just black bite marks at those places and their genitals.
It is hard to even listen to his accounts.

After his wife died, Rabindranath Dutta sold her ornaments to self-publish 12-13 books on Direct Action Day, Noakhali massacre, and 1971 genocide. First-hand experiences, rare research.
He says nobody in Bengal gave a damn...no politician, media, publisher, activist, or filmmaker.
We Hindus seem to have learnt no lesson from history.

17.8.1987- Vill. Kandhala Shekhan (Tanda) Hoshiarpur- Sh. Parkash Chand, a prominent Hindu of the area was shot dead by 2 Khalistani Sikh terrorists at about 8.30 in the night, when he was sitting on cot outside his powerloom unit. The terrorists fired at him from close range after verifying his identity from him. Sh. Parkash Chand was Sarpanch of the village and an Ex Chairman of Tanda Market committee. He was elder brother of Sh. Darshan Kumar, the then Divisional Commissioner of Ferozepur division. Sh. Parkash Chand’s son was also injured in the firing. While escaping, terrorists fired at a group of women who were returning from fields. In the firing Mrs. Resham Kaur was killed on spot.
