We have started a fundraiser for the program. Please consider donating or sharing our link. If you work for a company or know of a company that would like to become a corporate sponsor this is for you. Your donation is tax exempt. Thank you in advance for your support.
@FUTURES_Inc Mainland Fire Service Program was the recipient of two grants this year. Thank you @FUTURES_Inc and all the donors who made this possible. We can’t wait to show you the impact these sponsors have to the program and students education.
I want to thank the whole team at BullDog Hose Company for making this donation happen. We are fortunate to have received 7 sections of their Firepower II to outfit the two crosslay hose beds. We can’t wait to have the students utilize this new equipment.
@BetterWFetter@FDOT_Secretary They are to deter tractor trailer drivers parking on the shoulder. I can see your concern for the amount of signs but it is much less expensive than having a company pay out because their fleet vehicle is illegally parked on the side of the road.

When you don’t have money to buy a $15,000 digital fire extinguisher training prop, you ask your artistic wife to draw flames on OSB and cut it out. Students will be using water extinguishers to train on how to put out a Class A fire. Thank you Stephanie Ingerman for the help.
Students are learning how to identify and inspect fire extinguishers in class. Next week they will do a practical where they have to inspect extinguishers on campus.
Thank you Pye-Barker Port Orange, FL for the donation of two water extinguishers and one new gauge. This program is getting outfitted by companies like you. Can’t wait to teach the students and staff of Mainland High School this skill.
