I don’t know your business or margins but if they’re crazy high, people will say “absorb” the increase. If they’re reasonable numbers needed to sustain a business and pay the owners/shareholders, then your comment shows why SMBs would/should push back. For context, I pay my employees a living wage and above median benefits in CA but also don’t want the government telling me what to do.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Shereef and witnessing his brilliance firsthand. The potential partnership between the VA, DOGE, and our bold new HHS leadership could redefine healthcare—not just for our veterans, but for every American.

@firstamerica76 @billessayli As a combat Veteran who has been dealing with PTSD for 20 years, I applaud ASM Bill Essayli and all of his colleagues in the CA legislature that moved SB 58 to the the governor’s desk. Veterans are disappointed but not deterred in our fight for access to plant medicine.
