I also liked the first 30 minutes of Digger. I didn't hate this movie at any point.

digger reigns supreme

[Will @SilentDawnLB]

Being purposely vague here but there's a mid-credits shift in sound at the end of Digger and it feels like the final exclamation point of its thesis, so don't miss it.

underappreciated moment in Primetime is when Chris Hansen calls his wife and starts the call with "Chris Hansen, Dateline NBC" and she's like... "yeah i know?"

[misty quigley updates @AVADANlELS]

primetime spoilers, but i think my favorite shot of 2026 is decoy danny standing in front of the missing children's posters in the police station. real children they could allocate resources for relegated to the background as they invent fictive children for entertainment justice

"Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires."

This is like being a meth head and asking someone who's never done meth how they're going to get through their day without meth

People genuinely dont know what "class" means anymore. No, children are not an "oppressed class" they are a demographic which, yes, are vulnerable which can lead to abuse. But in no world are they a "class". Class is determined by ones relationship to the means of production.

Shaving before the job interview just in case something happens

it is frustrating when a character like spider-man has a movie that’s supposed to be a love letter to nyc and then they’re so clearly not filming there

fucking despise what's become of the word larp. acronym used to describe some of the biggest genuine nerds being misconstrued to insult people who are not nerdy/knowledgeable enough. its like larping the word larping

finding out people your age are homophobic is so strange cause how the hell did that happen

FUN FACT: Mitch McConnell has been on paid medical leave for 51 days now. That's over 7 weeks.

This is a week longer than the 6 weeks of maternity leave that women in the US are not guaranteed after giving birth.

In 2008, Dark Knight’s Patriot Act moment with Batman surveilling the whole city to save 1000+ people from blowing up was treated as a sin so dirty that it warranted hanging up the cape and allies quitting.

2026 Spider-Man does it and it’s a quirk, of course heroes do that now

[Nitro-Spidey @NitroSpidey]

across the spider-verse isn’t nearly as incomplete a film as people on here like to say it is
