@thekitze A lot of absolute opinions in the comments. I think they miss something crucial: Figma is great in some cases, but if you’re designing something very interactive (like an editor), even 100 connected Figma frames won’t truly explain the experience and won’t be testable.
@crypitos@NikkiSiapno I just tried it. Maybe I gave it bad input, but I got random fonts with company name + what looks like icon library search “logos” mixed with random colors, bad kerning and element positioning. Better than word art but nowhere near templates from stock sites.
@realEstateTrent@loobah_l Your friend should move to Denmark. I have no wallet, no cards. Drivers license and national ID are both digital/apps. Reg some other comments: Losing physical cards is worse than losing phone imo.
Ever needed Photoshop features in @figma?
Now you can have them with this plugin.
Install the Photopea plugin from

@nsnielsen@mvinaes Kan ikke lade være med at tænke på hvor gode I bliver til at synge med 1.5 timers sangtræning hvert dag. Har hørt flere der bruger “hvid støj” (YouTube) med held.
@VDMK28 @venandtonic @tranhelen@LondonMathews To be fair, maybe you and I don’t both know someone working for Philips. In any case, just replacing the bulbs and adding a few switches – rather than rewiring the whole house for some other automation control – was still a lot cheaper.
Figma acquisition shows how hard it is to turn money into software. You'd think for $20B you could build something as good as Figma yourself, but you can't. Software is art.
The worst part about Zoom calls is reminding the finished presenter that they’re still screen-sharing as they drift info post-presentation procrastination
@abe1x@bxlewi1 100%. They’re losing their own point of view, replacing it with the immediate imagination of their customers. Avoiding controversy by submission.
@MichalHawelka @5t3ph 100% agree. Also the reason for the role “UI developer”. Few “frontenders” have deep knowledge in CSS, markup, browser rendering performance, etc. I believe “UI developer” is a good role to hire for.. also making other frontenders more efficient.
When did @sketch become so buggy? My component lib claims all components changed but crashes when I try to update them. So I'm basically unable to work until this is resolved 🙄
