I'm happy to share that I'm actively recruiting for my dissertation! This project seeks to understand experiences of stigma as relates to quality of life for Black/African American and Latinx parents of autistic children, and I'd appreciate all help with disseminating this work.
Excited to see such great representation across institutions! Our lab has several poster and oral presentations to share at this year's conference - we hope to see folks there!
Thrilled there are so many presentations related to #Autism and #DevelopmentalDisabilities at #ABCT2023

@FromPhDtoLife I am so quick to tell people that I would’ve dropped out a long time ago without a supportive community in and out of my program (and a cuddly colleague to come home to)
Mary Isaac Cargill and Peter D. Goldie gave an excellent, in-depth dialogue on Applied Behavior Analysis (#ABA), and how it affects the neurodiverse (specifically autistic) community @PsychinOut#PPJ2023

It has been such an incredible joy and privilege for me to work with these students, and I am grateful for the opportunity to recruit and train a truly diverse research team, including those who might typically be excluded from research.
I heard so much at #INSAR2023 about the need for participatory research, valid outcome measures, diverse participant samples, and research that matters to autistic adults, their families, and clinicians. Here’s your chance to make that happen! Please spread the word!
