Returned to school after 6 months at home only to be sent to the isolation room because their shoe laces aren’t the right width.

Sent home due to sickness (triggered by feeling anxious) and told that they will be spending their first day back at school in isolation.

I find that it is amazing what happens when you share your struggles with children who are experiencing the same things. It becomes something you try and solve together and that’s where the magic happens! ✨

That’s my name! Me! The girl who was told she had Semantic Pragmatic Disorder; great imagination but set back by poor grammar and comprehension.

This book edited by @thewoodbug has given a voice to autistic staff working in schools. I couldn’t be happier to see it published.

I really believe that @TeamTeachLtd training can give staff working with children and vulnerable adults greater confidence to create calmer environments and respond to distressed behaviour.

Today saw the start of a 5 day “Team Teach Train the Trainer” course at PTHub. Delegates will explore a toolkit of strategies to develop positive behaviour & crisis support. At the end of the course, delegates will be qualified to deliver Team Teach training to their colleagues.
