Here’s how the California’s Billionaire Tax will appear on the ballot
they don’t do a good job of presenting the risks or even explaining that this is a tax on total assets, not income.

ELON: “I don’t really know. I don’t think about it much. I’m a technologist.”
ELON: “I don’t live a hedonistic life. I don’t have a yacht. I like building things, I like playing video games, hanging out with friends.”
His point: the fortune is a scoreboard on the companies, not a lifestyle. No yacht. No second act of spending it.
Most people who hit this number buy the boat. He bought more factory.
The US just watched that number cross $1 trillion again. China is still building the rival stack. Europe is still debating the tax.
The money is the side effect. The build is the point. 🛠️
I resigned from Apple today. I spent the last three years doing foldable research at both google and apple. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving foldables and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

I want more data centers.
I want more nuclear power plants.
I want more water desalination plants.
I want more high speed transport.
I want more automated warehouses.
I want more 3D printing.
I want an abundant, advanced, high trust society… no longer stifled by doomerism, neuroticism and cowardice.
@VigilantFox 1-10000 is acceptable risk to a morbidly obese population that will die in 5 or less years without major health changes. Hell most of them would be blinded from the diabetes and an equal or proportional rate.
