@JamieWoodhouse Hopefully technology will advance to create humane alternatives and reduce animal suffering. Meat can be grown in a lab the same way we create insulin now for diabetics. Science is our future. It has pros and cons but we are doomed at this point if we don’t use it wisely

A brain dead person whose brain is crushed can have a heartbeat but they are dead and will be taken off life support. Hrtbeat comes from the brain stem not cortex
