@johnsmith_1178@ChrisChavez If you want to be picked you have to compete at trials in an event or have a medical exemption. So this just means he's still eligible to be nominated to the team, in no way does it guarantee he's on the team.
@ChrisChavez Reading the selection criteria. The top 2 athletes will be selected provided they have a standard. So it only really gets interesting if someone without the standard finishes top 2 as the spaces aren't offered by default to the next best placed athlete with the standard.
It’s official! Iona Winnifrith is off to the Paris Paralympics this Summer! Tonbridge SC is very proud of Iona and we all firmly believe in her future potential. Iona is the youngest member of the GB Paralympic swim team.

Report from the last round of the @Nat_Ath_League and end of season awards. Looking forward to the next challenge in the Premiership.
@AthleticsWeekly Speaking as the Team Manager of Tonbridge I'm pretty sure it's us that goes to the paper match not Chelmsford as your league points maths is wrong. Even with double points on offer we'd be on the same as Chelmsford but behind on match points.
@markhookway By calling transwomen men it's offensive. Every comment about 'allowing men into female sport' is transphobic as it is claiming transwomen are men when they are not.
@TeamEngland@EnglandAthletic
I’ve been confused regarding selection…being passionate about athletics I have done A LOT of research.
I’m now very confused!
Please can you publish the logic behind selections and publish the real selection policy, clearly this was a decoy!
“I’m 39! This doesn’t happen!”
Such a good interview by @Thommo10k w/ @TimHutchings1 after winning the British Olympic Marathon Trials.
Thompson became a father earlier in the week and just set a personal best of 2:10:50 at the age of 39 to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.
@DPB1978@CodyCat12@quadzilla42@_MarcScott The dragonfly doesn't have a carbon plate. Also carbon plates have been I spikes for years and years. Racing gets in the way of training. More time for training. Wider base = taller pyramid
