As the world marks the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, many Nigerians continue to live with the anguish of losing loved ones to terror groups, never knowing whether they will see them again.
Kashim Mohammed is one of them. More than a decade ago, his sister disappeared.
But the search has changed him and taught him how to support other families living with the same uncertainty. Through mental health and psychosocial support from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), he has found ways to cope while standing with families of the missing.
