@skytv customer services are absolutely shocking when you need to speak to somebody! Refusing to let a customer speak to you unless they pay a bill when they’ve been without broadband for over a month
If there’s one plea I could make ahead of GCSE results day tomorrow, it’s in the way the media and other commentators talk about GCSE grades.
Grades 1-3 are not fails. Us or Xs are. Anyone with a 1-3 HAS GOT A GCSE. And for some of those kiddos, a 1 or a 2 or 3 can be a phenomenal result that they deserve to be proud of. Let’s be a bit more responsible in our language.
@AldiUK come to cook my pork medallions tonight after purchasing 2 packets earlier today in one of your stores. 29th of May they had on them! you let me know what the process is to get a refund? Obviously haven’t got a receipt anymore. Surely these can’t be sold past their date?
@GillianKeegan This doesn’t have any bearing on working families who have jobs and children under school-age and need to be in FULL-TIME nursery in order for you to work! surely this should come into place sooner than September 24/25? children under the age of 1 will not see any benefit of it..
In preparation for launching our shiny new https://t.co/TiInBvA91L in September I've finally gone and got some merchandise!
Like and retweet for your chance to win a MrCarterMaths mug or pen.
I'll be picking some winners randomly Monday evening.
@WhistleblowingT I would have thought so. I had to have worked for my employer for two years to get company maternity (currently on Mat) but then I think it’s only about 25 weeks worth of work over a set period of time to get SMP over maternity allowance
@WhistleblowingT I find that sometimes students conveniently lose their planners so their behaviour can’t be written in (still input on the system), plus when they refuse to hand it over theres always a battle as they then question any behaviour sanctions issued because it isn’t in their planner
@hannahliznqt Similar to you too and studying for my masters qual part-time, whilst worrying about the impact of the rubbish maternity pay I’m about to endure for the next few months
@BritishGas how can you justify my bills going from 259 a month to 522.. in order to ‘stay on track’
That’s nearly an extra £300 you’re asking for! Where do these figures come from? I have ALWAYS spent under estimate on my bills so have no idea how I’m projected to be so behind
@BritishGas can I ask why I haven’t yet had my DD refund for October? My payment for this month was taken the 28th of September! I now have a quote for £433 A MONTH! HOW!
@mathsjem We used Edexcel for the ELC and all students (about 12) gained something from it and were more confident going into the GCSEs as a result. Students found the tasks more challenging then the tests, but that was to be expected. Really useful course!
