This week, I was delighted to welcome Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cindy Termorshuizen to Ankara. The productive visit featured extensive bilateral and foreign policy consultations @MFATurkiye, hosted by Deputy Minister Burak @Akcapar and Director General (Americas) Yaprak Balkan; engagement with Turkish academia; meetings with mission management; and an all-staff "Townhall" with the fantastic team @CanEmbTurkiye.

Congratulations to 🇨🇦's @BaffinFisheries and 🇹🇷's @TersanShipyard on the successful launch of the Inuksuk II.

Another BIG example of commercial cooperation between Canada and Türkiye. This enormous ship is on track to be harvesting turbot and shrimp in Canada's Arctic waters by next year.
