@SuperSportTV We’re watching your coverage of the Olympics but we are tired is seeing the same 4 ads in every break, every single day. Please change it up.
A motivational thread: I joined the gangs at age 13 as an ice boy, age 15 I was a soldier of the gang, age 16 I started own gang. My life consisted of going in and out of jail. I soon became a wanted person by various divisions of the police. I was arrested at age 21 finally
@nata_ngwe The study policy is a scam, to say it politely. A unit trust is much better but even better still is an long term investment fund which offers average market returns: funds are accessible through Bank Whk, Allan Gray, Pointbreak etc. We use the latter.
@Niipale_Pandeni Agreed. It doesn’t tackle the root of the problem. Housing costs are high because demand is high as a result of low supply. The supply of affordable land in Windhoek is constrained by a lack of services - water supply, sewage treatment. Reducing rent will only increase demand.
Sincere congrats to Somalia: Reduced national debt from 64% of GDP 5years ago to 9% today. Now, global lenders have canceled US$4.5billion in recognition of Somalia's anti-corruption successes and creating an efficient national gov where a few years ago there was no gov at all.
Hearty Congrats to Ethiopia, where famines are historic (1980s famine killed 1million, made 1m more homeless): For 1st time in Ethiopian history, country exports wheat, having grown enough for domestic needs. New wheat variety grown on 5,000 hectares in 2018 up to 2.2m ha in 2023
Costly headgear. Zimbabwe will spend £120,000 on judges' wigs this year. Only air conditioning saves judges from sweaty discomfort and possibly passing out. However, tradition must be observed because . . . it's a homage to British colonialism?
Congrats Malawi: makes its first successful large-scale wheat harvest after trying for years to find a grain variety suitable for its soil. Malawi imports 200,000 tonnes of wheat at $48 million. To achieve self-sufficiency, it may take four years to produce enough - but on way!
Following my previous Tweet, here are some of the specific concerns for Namibian investors in the NIPA/NIPFB
Govt can decide if you can expand, or not. Govt can decide if businesses have competition, or not. Etc.
Massive scope for abuse. Makes #rishrot risk look like child play
Anyone know who developed and is maintaining this website? We need to optimise it and ensure it opens on all devices. It's critical at this stage for our job seekers

Biometric data refers to unique human characteristics like fingerprints or facial features, that are often used for passwords. MTC's requirement for this data during SIM registration is not only unlawful but raises serious privacy concerns & must be condemned! #DataProtection
