BREAKING: The son of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy has been arrested after authorities say he shot his mother, Mia Bieniemy.

Deputies responded to the family's home in Ashburn, Virginia, late Sunday night and found her suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Mia was taken to a hospital, where officials say she remains in stable condition.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid addressed the situation saying, “our hearts go out to Eric Bieniemy and his family, thoughts and prayers are with them.” | @HARRISFAULKNER @OutnumberedFNC
