Delighted to kick off this consumer focused campaign highlighting the challenges farmers face when it comes to producing food. Keep an eye on @AgriAware as this space grows going forward.
Have you heard of the Mercosur trade deal? 🇪🇺
As part of our Food for Thought campaign, Agri Aware hit the streets of Dublin to find out what consumers really know about EU policies and trade deals and how they feel about them.
In November, we asked people for their views on the contentious Mercosur deal and whether the option of cheaper beef would influence their buying choices… or if they’d continue to support locally produced Irish beef. 🥩🇮🇪

Delighted to contribute and capture a glimpse of the first Dairygold & Agri Aware Host Farm Initiative🚨🍀
Michael Ryan and his family are the epitome of sustainable Irish family farm produce. Their passion and openness to share their story with the next generation of consumers and potential farmers is uplifting and more pertinent than ever.
Over 65 primary school students engaged and got actively involved on farm. They got to witness a cow being milked, interact with the calves at grass, see beef livestock and have an interactive Q&A session on all things dairy.
Bridging the gap from Farm to Table and having awareness of where food is produced can never begin soon enough.
Looking forward to the next Host Farm alongside Agri Aware 🐄🥛🧀🧈🌱🥩
Lots of interest down at the beef shed with Agri Aware’s Michael Geary discussing beef production and getting students prepped for some short answer exam questions
