@Tina848Laczko@JohnKincade I guess it’s similar - pay $100 and walk on or take a bus/train sit from further away. But these stadiums charge $30 normally so that’s the criminal part. There isn’t actually more demand than normal. I think it was wrong.
@DominickChille1@TheDeeVoShow@BillyAt Yah I totally agree. Even Downingtown would consider themselves suburbs of Philly. Glen Moore? Chester Springs? I guess I was thinking of the part of Malvern that is over by 76/Yellow Springs as the border. Growing up in Upper Darby, that was suburbia. But now it’s west Philly
@DominickChille1@TheDeeVoShow@BillyAt Yah, it’s debatable but driving on 30 past paoli and you just feel it - large billboards, farm country, 76 but not the expressway 76, a granite quarry turned into 3000 homes.
@TheDeeVoShow@BillyAt West of 252 is not Philly. Once you hit Malvern its suburbs. Devon is “main line Philly”. You could be generous and draw the line at 352/ridley creek. Once that park starts it’s not “Philly”
@typesfast "We were the first to show a dashboard of all cargo ships in the straight of Hormuz. We were the first to live-tweet the tariff refunds..." :)
@ModeledBehavior@Noahpinion Is that the value from the engineers or the product people? It was historically hard to build and over-hiring meant filling roadmaps with “experiments” and features and value could not be extracted. I’d argue the root cause was poor ideas, no real GTM, etc. so yes, sort of?
BREAKING: I just announced a $30 million plan to fix traffic congestion and keep people safe around the Sports Complex in South Philly.
This area is a major economic and entertainment hub — and too many of us know what it’s like to sit in that traffic.
Whether you’re coming into town for a game or you’re a local who drives on these roads daily, these investments will help you get to where you need to go safely and on time.
@Kevin_Kinkead Yes, Yes, Yes. Is Harvard a "Boston" school or no? Same thing really - a few minutes outside of town is still the metro area even if the zip code and town are different. You can see Liberty 1 from Newtown Square clear as day. It's Philly.
@GergelyOrosz@championswimmer “if you collect all these "layoff emails" from CEOs you'll almost feel they are all in the same Whatsapp group writing these emails together. “ - they are in group chats. It’s why they all said “a recession is coming, we need to get lean” at the same time a few years back.
@SeanODowd15@jamesonhaslam Yah, I have seen this before and I don't think it's going to work. I think it's very SF Bay Area/California biased in terms of need and price. I think they are essentially trying to solve a problem that's not really a problem, with a solution that is costly and also not super.
