@uncledoomer Pumped Up Kicks and Somebody That You Used to Know are future pop classics - they'll last and last - Seventeen Going Under is the last one to hit that spot.
@bstuartTI There are many things wrong with it, that I'm not sure you can know unless you study animation from the ground up. Audiences might not know too, but they'll feel it. Like the direction of camera travel, the length of shots - stuff the AI isn't going to consider unless asked to.
This short film by former Pixar animator Rodrigo Blaas is genuinely disturbing. Alma (2009) delivers more unease in a few minutes than many full-length horror films.
@Matt_Pinner Smiley's People, Sandbaggers, Thriller, I Claudius, Tinker Tailor, Tales of the Unexpected, The Lotus Eaters. Basically the 1970s had very good TV.
Genndy Tartakovsky has shared a test animation clip from his new film ‘THE BLACK KNIGHT’
• Follows a knight who controls a 20ft tall suit of armor in the 14th century
• Sony Animation is unsure if there is an audience for the film theatrically so they haven’t greenlit it
@ATRightMovies Having Kevin Feige in charge this long is like watching a foreign dictatorship cling to power. Comics have new creative teams regularly, MCU needs a change.
@SupermanHypeGuy Nah. It felt like it was directed by Whedon (as in, a bit televisual, banter-led). Some beautiful frames but was hoping for the scale of Fury Road or Dune 2, this suffered from a CW feel.
Felt like dropping into a comic halfway, (I get it) but why not do it like a mini series?
