WANTED Parole Absconder

The Moody County Sheriff's Office assisted Sioux Falls PD, Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office along with SD Highway Patrol in locating a subject who is currently on Parole and has Absconded. He was last seen around 530 pm on 03-04-26 in a vehicle that was found wrecked and abandoned near 238th St and 468th Avenue south of Colman. He is believed to be dangerous and may have a weapon with him. Unknown for sure at this time. Unknown direction of travel on foot from the wrecked vehicle in a field. As of 816 pm same date, his whereabouts are unknown. Residents in the area are encouraged to lock all vehicles and out buildings. If you see anything unusual in the area we urge you to call 911 to report it. We also encourage you to not engage this individual. He is described as a Native American male with head, and neck tattoos. Last seen wearing a camfoflage sweatshirt. We would also like to thank Madison Police Department for assisting with their Drone. And thank you to Lake County Sheriff's Office for their assistance for helping with the perimeter. If you know his whereabouts you are also encouraged to contact your local law enforcement.
