There are some Panthers players on Defense that need to take a leap in production this year if the unit wants to become a top 10 side and push the team to serious playoff contention.
These are guys that I think WILL take that leap and take us there.

This isn’t a hot take by any means. The former 2nd round pick showed he’s got the juice his Rookie Year. With 5 sacks and led the team in pressures he had a successful rookie campaign.
Coaches rave about his leadership.
8+ sacks off his edge takes the D places
Chau was one of the players of camp last year, but the shine faded as we got to mid-season. Canales even said Thornton had taken the job.
His fight to earn the spot once again will be something to watch
REPORT: Warriors owner Joe Lacob is focused on building the team for the post-Steph era

Trailing by 4, :05 to play in regulation, 4th down and goal, 5 yards for the win.
The Call: QB Draw
One of the wildest regular season wins in Panthers history.

Liam Coen got Baker Mayfield to throw 40 touchdowns and Trevor Lawrence a top 5 MVP finish in back to back years. He's closer to the McVay Shanny tier than you want to admit and idk why people are so low on him
