Mastodon seems like a honeytrap for hall-monitor personality types. Honestly if Elon gets all the hall monitors to migrate to Mastodon that might be his greatest contribution toward the betterment of humanity.
@nameshiv@DrJasonJohnson @hawksninja @benbbaldwin 2017 is my favorite exemplar of the run support Wilson has received since going away from RO keepers. That year Seattle’s RBs yards per carry ranked 537th out of 543 team seasons since 2001.
@nameshiv@DrJasonJohnson @hawksninja @benbbaldwin Last year Seattle used the pass to set up the run for much of the year, which helps the run game and is what we wanted. This year Seattle’s run game got going on its own…for the first time since they scaled back RO keepers! That’s not just inconsistent.
@josevalim Get as many of the largest monitors I can afford, set the resolution as high as I can stand, format code to 72 col and use Emacs's default keyboard bindings to mercilessly split/move/kill windows/buffers as I always have tons open. I wish I were smart enough to get away with less
@nntaleb and the next sentence says "An important limitation of these observational data is the inability to differentiate cause and effect, because some traits of elite athletes (eg, genetics, socioeconomic status, other lifestyle habits) unrelated to PA can also affect longevity."
@QuinnG8112@benbbaldwin He’s had a lot of dropped INTs since he’s been in the league. That he has a knack for throwing balls that are hard for defenders to catch is implausible.
@EthanCDouglas@benbbaldwin But he didn’t say pass, he said play action, and then in that context he claimed that a run game gives the QB more space, which data shows it doesn’t. So he kinda suggested he knew the data but then kinda showed he doesn’t get it
@Allbrighting@benbbaldwin Yeah I don’t care about the larger issue. I just thought Harbaugh’s response was a bit glib. But I guess that’s what makes something funny 😁
@benbbaldwin No time comes off for extra point tries, does it? Either way, 16 points is only 2 scores (kinda) and, while (extremely) unlikely, unlikely things do happen every once in awhile.
