@epnohelty I’m not sure if I’m remembering it correctly or not but I’m pretty sure when the CBA came out, Keith mentioned on his pod that gm’s and assistant gms reached out to ask him to help explain some stuff to them
@NickCRadio@KeithSmithNBA Depends on what contract Duren agrees to. The most he can get on his rookie Super max extension is five years and up to $287.1 million (roughly $57.4 million annually)
My dad was a highschool AD and basketball coach for a school that had an all American safety. Nick Saban who was at the time at Alabama came to recruit him there. He asked to watch him in basketball practice to 1. See what athletic traits transfer over from other sports and 2. See how he competes and how coachable he is. Winning coaches care about the little things like he said . Thanks for putting this on my feed.
@mooosetradamus Hey I’m not saying Brett has been like woj or shams level in the know before everyone else. But I’ve seen him break things like free agency signings and draft picks before shams and Scotto the last couple years and he has good analysis on the directions of teams after moves.
@_JrdnThms@CtQubn73538@DraftDeeper They are gonna wait to do the trade til after July 6th anyways. They can certainly do it yeah without worrying about the hardcap. But MLE is only $15,091,000 so it can’t be used for Murphys salary. But if they trade kuminga and multiple picks they could get Murphy if Nola wants
@HoopFocusX Okc has no leverage because they have a mandate to get under the 2nd apron. And he’s out of the rotation with carruso Wallace and Mitchell ahead of him.
