Convinced my 86yo father to buy one for the FSD. After purchasing it he drove to the local charging port to get familiar. Then I set FSD to return to the dealership. He was amazed at the ability of the car to drive out the garage. Same week he used FSD to drive to a meeting 30 minutes away.
@DerrickEvans4WV Free lesson. If your interest due is higher than the amount of your repayment, you will add to the principal. You can never repay a debt without covering both the interest and the principal. That someone would do this to themself is the real tragedy.
@har26606511@iamgabesanchez There was the guy the other night with the pitchfork and the bucket and apparently this one. Sounds like he just tore what was already loose.
🚨 LAST NIGHT: US Park Police detained a suspicious man carrying a pitchfork and bucket around the Lincoln Memorial reflection pool
It’s unclear what the man was planning on doing with the pitchfork and bucket, but it’s certainly not a regular sight at the pool.
This came shortly after the “86 47” inscription was discovered on the pool’s sealant, although it’s unknown if these two situations were related.
I’ve reached out to the National Park Service for comment, but haven’t yet heard back.
@Vivanuri@chapterlegacy_@ira_herve That year organizers eliminated time bonuses. A pure win over 3,000km. LeMond won by the strength of his individual time trials. On the final time trial LeMond had a 50second time deficit and employed an aerodynamic helmet and handlebars topping Fignon by 58seconds.
@Vivanuri@chapterlegacy_@ira_herve Those seconds mean nothing to the leaders as 90% of the races end in a group finish with no time exchanged. Those differences were from splits and likely position with time bonus at the finish of a very few legs of the tour.
@sysadafterdark Make a reflective bottom and get rid of the water. Save the world from disastrous water consumption and we all will live 0.00001 seconds longer. Win/win.
@real__axella1@ira_herve It has a name and everyone does it. They call it a sticky bottle. Handing something to someone racing 20-30mph requires balance, coordination and yes a slow handoff. The boost is minimal allowing them a breather to rack back to the pack.
Approximately 70% to 75% of the Tamir interceptor missiles (used in the Iron Dome) are now manufactured in the United States. The original system was ENTIRELY Israeli-conceived and developed, the U.S. and Israel now utilize a co-production model. Israel continues to assemble the remaining components. The core radar systems (ELTA) and fire control systems (mPrest) are developed and produced domestically within Israel.
@WillRicci Nah, Trump signed the deal in Versailles. He wants to own it if it works and blame shift (to Vance) if it fails. Everyone knows it is his deal.
@jerusalemofiron@SBlockspy@Osint613 More like two of the four don’t follow it. Iran was not going to sign because Israel countered two days of rockets & droning from Hezzy. What is unsaid is Iran doesn’t sponsor terror and yet the first item in the MOU involves protecting a totally unrelated militia in Lebanon🤡
🇬🇧 Meanwhile in London
A vigilante group called ‘The Blade Runners’ continue to cut down ULEZ Cameras - a traffic surveillance system that charges people for not driving the correct ‘Green’ Car.
