No. Most fans don’t realize that. What many of us realize is your coverage is, at this point, largely informed by your personal dislike of Shanahan. He hurt your feelings and/or embarassed you, and as a result you have lost the objectivity required to report on him or the team, and instead you are using your platform to discredit him and sooth your bruised ego. You cherry pick statistics to support your “fire Shanahan” agenda. You do the same with players who challenge or embarass you. And you have made yourself part of the story, something no legitimate journalist would do. It’s unfortunate because the occasionally well observed, often clever critique you offer is buried beneath a mountain of unproffesional, personal attacks. When you’re not consumed with ad-hominem attacks, you can be very entertaining.
