Our team is currently surveying wetlands in South-Western Uganda to monitor the Grauer’s Rush Warbler, a globally threatened bird. 6 individuals have already been sighted-proof that hope still sings! 🐦💚

While conducting the bird monitoring in Naguru, we came across this unfortunate sight - a bird carcass found along the transect. We suspect it might be a Harlequin Quail (Coturnix delegorguei) though its appearance seemed unusual. Any birders out there who can confirm the ID?
