A stronger Mediterranean needs strong partnerships.

Today, I met the newly appointed Deputy Secretaries-General of @UfMSecretariat - glad to see that four of whom are women - and thanked Nasser Kamel for his leadership in challenging times.

@UfMSecretariat has a vital role to play in turning the #PactfortheMediterranean into concrete action. Together, we will implement the first 21 initiatives of the Action Plan to strengthen regional cooperation, create opportunities for our youth, empower women, and build a more prosperous and resilient Common Mediterranean Space.

It was a pleasure to present the first Action Plan implementing our Pact for the Mediterranean to representatives from Member States and our Southern Mediterranean partners.

And it was welcomed with enthusiasm!

This is a true co-creation effort, built on active engagement and valuable contributions from partners across the region.
