@SuzLaugh@tomcolicchio I wish Democrats had that much power. It’s a global inflation crisis, one the USA under President Biden is recovering from the fastest.
@Massasplinter69@MeetThePress There are all kinds of ways to get around that. The Hyde Amendment, for example, has blocked federal Medicaid funding for abortion services which penalizes low income people.
@mamashelly76@JMeanypants 24 years of service in the national guard and as a teacher isn’t enough for you? Why does he not get the same respect from you?
@realTimothyC@JMeanypants 24 years of service in the National Guard and as a teacher, and he decided to retire to run for Congress and continue a life of service? Yeah, that guy. Sounds pretty valiant to me.
@GlassbutterflyB I love this! I will tell you that I vividly at age 10 staying up with my mom in and watching Jimmy Carter win the election. I consider this my first big election and we were so excited.
@CPAC This argument makes absolutely no sense to me. VP Pence had the same right. Was he sowing division when he broke a tie vote? It’s a 50-50 Senate. This is literally how the system works regardless of party.
@NashIsHere4It My one and only time in Virginia City was a couple months before the 2016 election. It was so Trumpy and white that it was chilling. That young man sure was brave to try to exercise his right to get out the vote in a town like that.
