Lmao and then someone on the Internet in ogbomoso wants to shame me for using a Redmi 13C and living with my parents.
Meanwhile data says we are in extreme poverty.
Live below your means.
Make nobody gaslight you.
This is a narrow, uninformed, and reductive take. I have met a fair number of rich people in my life. Their greatest skill is identifying opportunities and having the discipline to execute them and achieve outcomes that ordinary people cannot.
The ordinary person glorifies being busy doing one thing and becoming a sharp tool at it, but the rich person builds an arsenal of tools and people that they apply to opportunities.
I have met people who got rich legally and illegally; one common trait they share is that they can get a community to commit to helping them achieve their objective because everyone benefits. They are human aggregators towards outcomes.
This is why those who win the lottery are likely to become poor again because they have not built this around themselves. All the rich people I have met who fell on hard times are, 99% of the time, able to bounce back because they have this around them. They build people, and people build them back. That is a priceless skill.
we often get too caught up in the appearance and insecurities of our own bodies we forget to be thankful that it’s functioning and working for us everyday
