My entire X feed is blowing up. Sam Altman was just fired from OpenAI??
I didn't not see that coming. I actually thought he was an excellent and balanced ambassador for the tech.
@Alyssa_Milano@johncusack If Hamas put down their weapons and surrendered I’d say ceasefire. But they’re using Palestinians as human shields and started this mess. Israel is now obligated to see it to its end. For both Israelis and Palestinians alike. It sucks that people are dying. That’s war.
If people can understand this— vast misunderstanding won’t be happening. If they understood this, they’d also know that calling for a ceasefire resonates with them and not Hamas. Hamas will not back down—a ceasefire will confirm deaths of their own. Both sides must agree.

He couldn't even control himself in court, FFS.
Today, I met with Prime Minister @RishiSunak and discussed our support for Israel’s right to defend itself and the urgent need to increase the flow of humanitarian assistance into Gaza. Together we are committed to helping civilians in need.
“What I see unfolding in Gaza and beyond is genocide”
There’s more truth in these 52 seconds from Craig Mokhiber (who just resigned from the UN Human Rights Office) than weeks and weeks of mainstream media coverage.
The Director of the UN's New York office just resigned after thirty years at the organisation over the UN's handling of the ongoing genocide of Palestinians.
The entirety of his resignation letter is a necessary read but this first page blew me away.
Affirmative action was never about admitting unqualified Black kids. It was always about ensuring qualified Black kids could also get accepted despite a world of systemic racism.
The “unqualified admission” you’re thinking of are legacy students—like how Kavanaugh got into Yale.
