@Matt_Pinner For 2 digit numbers usually 50 + 20 = 70, 6 + 9 = 15, so itโs 85. If it was 3 digit numbers or more Iโd do it 9 + 6 = 15, carry the 1, 5 + 2 + 1 = 8
@holoswift On Saturday a girl about that age asked my daughter if she would swap bracelets because someone gave her one that she didnโt think she should have - it said slut. Wonder if we ended up with your bracelet! ๐.
@GerryMcBride@Nocnonie One year a present from Santa fell off his sleigh on his way to Australia. Luckily, it fell in my sisterโs backyard in England! Santa left a note saying he ran out of time to pick it up, so my daughter FaceTimed my sister and asked her to go look, and there it was!
@MFWitches I said small gathering, but weโre going to a friendโs for a lunchtime BBQ and may still be there in the evening. Just their family and ours, 4 adults and 5 kids total. Will definitely be home asleep well before midnight.
@MrsRieB Australian here, we sang this in both Australia and when I lived in New Zealand. Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, think Iโll eat some worms. Long ones, short ones, fat ones, skinny ones, nobody knows I eat worms all day.
@Paulalondonnews@parthaskar@GillianKeegan So in most states in Australia mobile phones are banned at schools. There are exceptions - like for Type 1 Diabetes. In my experience thereโs no resentment, no parents asking for exceptions. Because theyโre banned itโs obvious if a child with one is using them for anything else.
This ridiculous new Ticketek Aus system of putting everyone in a virtual queue and then randomly selecting people is totally beyond my understanding. In almost 30 years I have never had an issue getting tickets to events, and now? What happened to first in, best dressed? ๐ก
