@irishrailways @RWLDproject That would have been late 1979 to about late 1980ish. Clonsilla to Mulligan, Mullingar to Athlone then Athlone to Claremorris. An almost 13 hour shift.

@irishrailways Never actually worked that panel but did work a smaller one in Howth which controlled all but a crossover at the blocks which remained operated by the frame & long since removed.

@irishrailways Installed in relay room on site of former private homes between the now platforms 2 & 3.

@irishrailways He was actually Senior Depotman in Howth Junction from the early 70's & did relief as required on the Howth Branch until he sadly passed away in 1994. I covered the boxes when a relief depot man on the northern, including the Junction prior to going into the driving grade in '82.
