2 yrs later - it was better than twitter in the first year when it was just organic human engagement and then the amazon/engagement bots came (still better than twitter)

The most important thing any student should develop through the school system is the ability to learn + research - that is a lifelong skill. There is no longer a “barrier” to entry — we are real time watching “survival of the fittest” in a digital age.
@Dexignerdreams@GreenGiorno@JDWenzel Us zillenials are just cusp babies 🥲 too young to be a millennials but also too old to relate to younger Gen Z - I think a defining characteristic to differentiate the two would be if they ever used a landline, held a newspaper, or know how to tell time on an analog clock lol
The part of Gen Z that matters are the types that grew up with troll culture, “DIY for kids” (like Lego Mindstorms etc), Homebrew Channel, pre-2017 YouTube, etc- this is a completely different group from those who did not grow up with these signifers, despite sharing a generation
There really has never been this much of an intergenerational gap before, and it hurts the “public image” of zoomers immensely- zoomers are seen as broccoli haired anti-tech types into steven universe and prone to chungus style beliefs, when in actuality this is merely a subgroup
This manifests in attitudes towards tech- older zoomers are very adept at using tech or at least compotent with it- younger zoomers are completely incompotent with it.
