@ryanwebjackson What's the context? I oversee two interns that use SO to find out how to do things. There's noone holding their hand so they try something until it works. Even if it's horribly slow code they copied...they are learning.

@mitchvolk How do you explain it? Senior staff, mgmt, and execs eyes will gloss over too given enough time. Stepping into a mgmt role forces me to throttle back my tech-speak and find ways to make it relatable to even the non-techs. Simplify/share the values in your experience. Good luck!
