On this day last year... We woke up to over a foot of snow in the Wasatch.
Not this year! But remember, last year all this snow melted and we had one of the worst starts to a season in our history. So I'll gladly trade a dry September for a snowy November.
Happy first day of fall! While there is no snow in the forecast yet, it's the time of year when we wonder when the first snow may fall. Here are a few of the average first dates of measurable snow across Utah. #utwx#stillinshorts
The countdown has begun! 100 days until we open for the 2018/19 winter season! Who's ready? 😄 ⛷️ 🏂 ❄️ 📸 : @coreykopishkephotography

Today I mentioned that the 4 hottest summers in SLC history have all been in the past 6 years. I was told I was "too political" for sharing that. I didn't realize that sharing data was political. *sigh*
Lots of possibilities still for this weekend into early week, but one of those possibilities would be quite a bit of precip (including high elevation snow!) It all depends on the exact track of this system which is still in question. Stay tuned!
Very neat before and after photo, it shows how quickly snow can melt with a little sunshine once we get to this point of the year (and also how hard it is to get snow to stick to roads). #utwx https://t.co/lanoyIY0Ny
Forecast for the last day of April: 6-12" of fresh. Another storm likely for Wednesday. It's not over 'til it's over. Details @ https://t.co/A6cRrdbhNy
I hope you have enjoyed this warm, spring-like weather the last two days; big changes coming. Including using the s-word (ahem, snow). Spring time in the west, at it's best. #utwx
