@paraman31 Jackie. I wasn’t part of the RAP, I was probably dropping someone off when that pic was taken. The guy that took this pic used RAP as a location marker. Quite helpful 40 years later on a bare arse hill full of random rocks.

@paraman31 Names don’t ring a bell Jackie. I was in 2tp, 9Sqn we went south with 2 Para and got moved to 3 for the landings so didn’t know many of the guys. We got to know a few during the weeks that followed.

I wasn’t born when that picture was taken, but I went into battle wearing a maroon beret(actually it was a helmet, but you know what I mean!) Every generation is different, but all are fearless when called upon by their country.

We need to extend the forms of ID acceptable for voting. @ElectoralCommUK report confirms barrier to voting. @PostOffice EasyID & other digital ID should be accepted, but anything acceptable to the Post Office for collecting a parcel should suffice.
