I mean I get it, hard backed envelopes cost money, but we went to the effort of using one to send it to you, you could have returned it in the same envelope. I feel that you have shown a massive lack of respect for peoples documents.
@SF_Wales my wife has just started a degree. Her name is different to that on her passport. You requested her marriage certificate as proof of change of name. So far all fair enough. We packaged the certificate in a hard backed envelope to preserve this important legal document.
To say I’m annoyed is an understatement. Due to yourselves using insufficient packaging our certificate now looks like it’s been kept in a school bag for a week.
I’ve just got home and my wife has had a letter from you. A thin paper envelope with no protection. Inside, a letter saying you’d received our certificate and it was enclosed. You’re right, it was enclosed. And creased. And had been bent to fit through our postbox.
We sent it off to you by first class signed for delivery and tracked it to you to ensure it got to you. Being our record of our marriage we wanted to make sure it was safe.
Getting seriously annoyed at @TalkTalk and their inability to keep to timescales that they set. I’m getting fed up of being told to be patient. I think 37 days is long enough. Let alone the 7 days that’s now elapsed for an escalation.
