@Saadusmani78@saxushu@JamesH_1200@NASAAdmin Mk2 is around 45t. SLS B1 can do 42t to tli so that's 3t.
Either way though, if multiple launches are going to be required to send mk2 to the moon then there's no point in using the more expensive, single-use rocket.
@SweatyCritter@Gongoozler15@APT_ea@DrChrisCombs It is an extremely useful technology. Not just for reducing costs, but for increasing flight cadence. Most Falcon 9 flights are reused cores. The flight leader among them has done 34 flights itself.
@ADM_Welsly@Lyn_Poster__@Truthful_ast I manually installed mods for years and only recently started using ckan. It made it a lot easier to redownload all of my mods when my ksp save broke, and I had to reinstall everything without going through dozens of forums to download every dependency for all of my mods.
@User2474865@GreentextWizard More efficient manufacturing techniques and higher chamber pressure give it higher thrust and isp than earlier versions. A lot of the material on the first versions were also just test equipment and could easily be removed or moved internally.
