@theveindoc incentives for productive people to do more work. So many of my colleagues want to reduce their hours to avoid these tax traps - in a time when waiting lists huge just no benefit to doing extra.

@theveindoc There isnt really incentive David, at that rate. I am deliberating reducing nhs to facilitate this work to be viable. Its just a sad state that in this country, there just isnt a substantive financial benefit to more work.

@LewisStanding1 @Imran_HussainMP But you talk like these are mutually exclusive events - drilling or wind farms. Why not both - we are needing gas for at least another 25 years. 85% homes use gas for heating with the shift from FF heating not until 2035 ban on new boilers, add another 15 years life expectancy.

I know we will still need to import but any move towards energy security is a good thing in my mind - what are the downsides?

It is a business rental property not someones home.
I will take out bins and wash dishes, but I wont be stripping beds and if I left the dishes I would expect it to be part of the cleaning fee.
Its a hotel alternative, often similarly priced.
