microcaps are not investments by default
some are trades
some are traps
a few become real opportunities
i am here to map the difference through risk
exits
position sizing
and mistakes worth keeping
no hype
no hero trades
a token being up 150% in 24h is not a buy signal
it is a reason to slow down
example setup:
small base microcap
around 160k mc
around 100k liq
big 24h move
that part looks good
but the short-term data matters
1h red
6h red
volume fading
buyers not showing up like before
that tells me the easy move may already be done
i do not want to buy after early buyers already got paid
for me this needs one of two things:
a clean higher low with volume coming back
or a reclaim after the pullback with liq still holding
until then
watchlist only
not bearish
not bullish
just not clean enough for an entry
most losses
do not start with the dump
they start earlier
the moment you see upside
but forget about downside
the buy is not the danger
the missing checklist is
before i touch a microcap
i want five answers:
liquidity
supply concentration
real volume
invalidation
first exit
liquidity means asking:
can i actually leave
a token can have $25k in liquidity
be up 60 percent
and look alive
but if a $700 sell
makes the chart bleed
that is not a clean market
that is a narrow door
supply concentration means asking:
who can hurt the chart
nice meme
good attention
green candles
then one wallet sells 4%
price falls apart
holders panic
liquidity gets worse
the risk was there before the candle
real volume means asking:
is this demand
or just noise
$200k volume means nothing
if it is mostly the same wallets trading back and forth
i want to see more holders
more unique buyers
liquidity holding
and volume that does not vanish
the moment price slows
invalidation means asking:
what proves me wrong
not vibes
not hope
if i enter
because price reclaimed a base
then lost that base with dead volume this matters
it is not a bad mood in the market
it is the thesis breaking
first exit means asking:
where do i reduce risk
if price moves 40-70%
and i have no plan to take anything off
then greed is managing the position
not me
so simple rule:
if i cannot explain the liquidity
the supply
the volume
the invalidation
and the first exit
i do not have a trade
i have exposure
and exposure without a plan
is just a bag in line for a disaster
before i even think about upside
i want three things
why this can work
how this can fail
where i leave
without all three
it is not a setup
it is a guess
Score x Lavance
We’re partnering with Lavance to bring Vision AI to car and heavy-vehicle wash stations, turning cameras into real-time operational intelligence that improves uptime, safety, and efficiency across one of France’s largest wash networks.
The first TAO halving has occurred.
- Current block reward: 0.5 TAO.
- Current daily emission: ~3,600 TAO.
- TAO halving reduces emission rate by 50%
- Halves: TAO emissions & subnet Alpha pool injections
- Unchanged: Alpha participant rewards (miners, validators + earned stake.)
@LisaNEdwards Maybe it's time we move somewhere else. I am not living of X and have few followers, so it's easier for me to say, but I do not like where things are going.
Although I have to admit most of crypto topics are toxic and full of scams and noise, hard to filter gem posts.
The problem was "ghost liquidity."
My early code would find a profitable opportunity... only for me to realize there was $5 of liquidity on the order book.
So I had to rewrite the core logic to include a filter that ignores any opportunity with less than $50 of immediate liquidity.
That fixed the fake signals, but I then I hit another wall.
Most people think arbitrage is finding a 10% price gap and hitting buy.
That doesn't exist anymore. Gaps are closed in milliseconds. If you see a massive spread on a scanner, it’s usually a trap.
I didn't build this bot to find the biggest spread. I built it to filter out the noise and find the true spread.
But my first attempt failed immediately...
"Then I realised it's not quite enough if you want to live the way most people dream of living."
Who cares what most people think living is?
"And while you’re building cash flow, your life has purpose because you're building something that provides actual value to people."
To you maybe, not everyone's desire is to be a people pleaser.
