Student: What would happen if GPT-3 imitated GPT-2?
Teacher: Then GPT-3 would be asking itself how to be itself by asking itself what it would be like to imitate its progenitor.
Student: Does that mean GPT-2 can be trained by GPT-3 to become GPT-3, or are we fooling ourselves?
"Sometimes, as an artist...yes, I know how that sounds, anyway," began The Microficitionist, "sometimes as an artist you must withdraw from everything and everyone except you and your relationship with your surroundings."
Looking up and outwards, eyes sorta glassing, he said,
He likes to experiment with one particular fractally-nested, self-aware, bio-neural meta-network.
His mind, that is.
And sometimes other peoples' as well, mostly with at least the tacit permission of reading his words or being in his company.
"If someone who wasn't my child treated me the way you treat me," said the Patient Father to his child, "I'd beat them to death."
The child looked up, eyes full of fear.
"As it is," the Patient Father continued, "you're banned from electronics and you have to clean your room."
As he mentioned the armed drone sight-seeing tour, Adams pointed to a whiteboard behind him with some circles and arrows and key words -including words like DRONE, MISSILES, DRUGS, and so forth- drawn on it.
"Hypothetically, we can all agree on this in principle, can't we?"

"This guy gets it."
The refrain echoed out the ghost of an exiled mouth and was meant as the highest badge of honor.
"Maybe he'll understand his place on the list."
The Exile laughed a humorless laugh full of hate.
"Lean into what you recoil from."
He leaned into love.
"People forget what they used to believe after we've lied to them for so long," said the Dark Doctor, "and when they do, we sell their discarded beliefs back to them as fresh enemies."
"People rarely change their mode of being," began Blood Hawk, "but they're often prepared to change their environment should their mode of being...collectively or individually...impair their ability to carry on in their current environment."
He ran the blade along the whetstone,
