@YoyaGB34@Kirk202o@clownworld I don't get what the deal people have with this. So boomers can't play games with more than one button it's a fact, so they put games in the slots where you press one button and need to focus on some sort of precision and timing. We looked the same way staring at our GBC or PS
Hunger strike on Tiananmen Square, May 1989. Photograph taken by a friend who chooses to remain anonymous. I will never forget the bravery of the peaceful protestors, and the sense of hope.
@glynhowells @GlasnostGone @domdyer70 same. I recall being in a dormitory in Sweden wondering if there was anything I could do at all. I just had to work towards writing a thesis and in the meantime accept that I was utterly distracted by watching on cable news what was a very clearly a huge geopolitical moment
@FredPersonne @Liveuamap@cindygallop@Mike_Eckel he's a former VP of an SOE, same as another guy. This is an effort to delete witness testimony, similar to Stalin's photo-erasure tricks.
@PeterZeihan in my case (just a former English teacher abroad), the only engagement in PRC led to disillusionment. Even the most enthusiastic westerners must be feeling a lot different now than even a few years ago.
