wanna recall Steve Jobs' inauguration speech at @Stanford always "stay hungry, stay foolish"
https://t.co/3ULky8Pgix begins this week in town, you hear more meme US stock token like FAMI, PONS; global trade with agents; and how perps attracting traders from execution and delegation
Went through my old CT DMs tonight, all the way back to 2021.
Some accounts are gone. Some people changed industries. Some are still here, now trading a completely different narrative.
Turns out half my “alpha” was just someone else's information arriving late.
Started with Bitcoin, actually got into crypto in 2023. Met traders, founders, VCs, people who helped me, people who disappeared. Somewhere along the way the handles became actual people.
Still scrolling. No grand conclusion. I was pretty naive. Probably still am.
Thanks for pointing out OI diff: CXMT ~$85m before listing, while Unitree less than $25m split across two markets.
One correction, though: the post-open freeze was a separate issue from the bad prediction. Unitree first missed the SSE open by around 35–45%; then, after SSE revealed the real price, Hyperliquid’s stale pre-market oracle prevented aggressive orders from trading near it until the deployers switched to the SSE reference. So this looks like two failures: weak price discovery before the open and a slow oracle transition after it.
@lookonchain Unitree may be the first major Pre-IPO perp this cycle to stretch the opening-price error from single digits to ~40%, which exposed the boundary of on-chain price discovery, too little deliverable arbitrage. https://t.co/12K327torN
