Kid scores 100% on a retest... Only given a 70%. For what possible justification do we put scores in the gradebook that do not match what a student knows?
There is no average time to learn something. Punishing students for taking longer to learn something seems archaic
@KatiePekel@BartlettCurtisj I always felt that if a student pulls a stunt like this, the math must still hold up. I would also blame the question. It is too ambiguous and created the loophole.
@KatiePekel@BartlettCurtisj There is a disconnect. When a student is asked to show their work, the information they show should be an insight to their thinking and sound. The math sentence 12-4=8 does not help to answer the question being asked.
